Why Dance?
Why strain your neck & back doing boring, painful crunches, when you can joyously achieve far superior abdominal strength through Latin dancing?
Would you prefer to jump around in an aerobics class, rather than work-out with sexy latin rhythms where the only impact is in the new way you walk, talk, & feel...
FAQ Answers:
1. You don't have have to book or pay in advance, just come when you can. Obviously, the more you dance the faster you learn.
2. Partners are not essential, but very welcome. Singles change partners throughout the lesson.
3. The Studio is open on summer Sunday afternoons, 5 -7pm just to enjoy dance & fresh air - no instruction except for the Rueda circle - LOL!! BYO alcolhol & snacks if you like! Entry $2.
4. Classes operate all year round including public holidays, except 2 weeks at Christmas, though you can still hire the venue.
5. Thursday night Socials are a good place to start - very easy and pure fun. Half hour beginner class, then just party. BYO - it can help you relax.
6. $8 Mon/Tues classes include half an hour of instruction & half an hour of unattended practice. They are Beginners, Intermediate, & Advanced.
Learning to dance - like learning anything - requires study, repetition & listening to the music - Dance as often as you can.... In the kitchen, washing the car,
on the beach, at the club, and of course attend as many classes as possible!
Most importantly - listen to the music all the time - in the car, when you sleep...

HAVE FEET? CAN DANCE! Believe me - & billions of people around the world - it's time well spent.
Learn fast at a time convenient to you dancing one on one with your teacher and/or partner. De-stress in your lunch hour with a whirl around the dance floor! Private lessons cost $22/half hour and $44/hour - limit of four per lesson - add $2/extra person/half-hour. Arrangements can be made for special occasions such as weddings, debutants, or up-coming events that require some social dancing skills. If you're serious about learning to dance competitavely, you will be accommodated. If you would like to undertake examinations rewarded by medal trophies and critiques from the ADS-Australian Dance Society, you can do that too!
